Geprom, during the months of June and July, has joined the business associations Secartys and IoT Catalan Alliance, with the aim of strengthening ties between industry 4.0, the telecommunications sector and the IoT.
The purpose of Geprom with these new links is to join forces and define strategies to enhance its interaction with agents and generate new business opportunities in an increasingly demanding and dynamic environment.
In the case of Secartys, Geprom was present on July 2nd in the commission of the Industry 4.0 working group organized by Acció and Secartys, born of the growing interest and connection of many of Secartys associates with the process of Digital Transformation of the Industry or Industry 4.0.
In the case of the IoT Catalan Alliance, the association has classified Geprom as a success case and has published on its website the monitoring project of AGVs in real time at the Seat Barcelona factory.
Secartys is organized as a cluster, integrating all the agents of the value chain (companies, technology centers, universities…). Currently, the association represents more than 1,200 entities, including direct partners and integrated associations, and serves companies in the following sectors: electronics, ICT, leisure and electronic entertainment, solar energy and energy efficiency, home automation, smart cities, industry 4.0, and lighting.
The IOT Catalan Alliance, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, is an initiative that aims to combine efforts and define strategies among all the actors involved in the Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance this incipient sector in Catalonia.
Geprom will participate together with the IoT Catalan Alliance and ACCIÓ in the IoT Solutions World Congress, which will be held from October 16th to 18th in Barcelona.
