Dario Cesena, CEO of Geprom I Part of Telefónica Tech, gave a talk on “The smart factory: manufacturing, maintenance and logistics”.
In his presentation, Dario spoke about the smart factory, a connected, flexible and sustainable factory that responds to the needs of each customer. Thanks to technological solutions that promote the digitisation of processes and automation, all data can be collected and analysed, enabling business decisions to be made in real time.
Together with Dario, Pablo Martin Garcia (partner in charge of Automotive EMEAL at NTT DATA) and Jesús Martin Tello (partner in charge of Business Development for Telecom & Media EMEAL at NTT DATA), analysed the challenges posed by Industry 4.0 and the importance of obtaining information in real time.
In the words of Dario Cesena: “Data is what will make us stand out from our competitors. It becomes another asset of the company that will help us to be much more competitive”.

“The 5G IoT Connection: from space to the whole world” With Juan José Gonzalez Menaya (Head of IoT Connectivity Products at Telefónica Tech AI of Things ), Jesús Millón Millán (Head of Strategic Alliances & Business Development at Telefónica Global Solutions) and Gianluca Redolfi (CCO of Sateliot).
“Aristeo: The industrial god of OT bees for cybersecurity”. Presentation by José A. Cascallana Arroyo, who defended the idea that the lack of cybersecurity in industrial environments is critical and can cause damage to people, the environment and the environment.
Finally, the presentation: “Digitalisation of the mining industry: the success of our customers”. Delivered by Andrés Escribano Riesco (Director of Industry 4.0 and New Business) together with Jorge Azaldegui Zelaya (Head of Sales Specialists), and Klever Morvely (Transformation and Business Relationship Manager at Mineria Las Bambas).
They discussed their success story and the importance of cybersecurity as a common element in all digitisation processes.
