Last week, in Barcelona, the IoT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) took place, a benchmark tech event on the Internet of Things that brought together more than 16,000 visitors, exhibitors and speakers to discuss digital transformation. Geprom participated with a stand where they showed their latest solutions and innovations in the fields of industrial IoT and Smart Factories.
The fair, which took place on October 29-31, was attended by more than 350 exhibiting companies, which included leading IT companies, software platforms, hardware manufacturers, and telecommunications professionals. It represents an obligatory stop for professionals from over 100 countries where they can learn and share about real cases of the current industrial revolution in various sectors.
In this context, Geprom presented their solutions at a stand within the Catalonia area, together with ACCIÓ (the Agency for Competitiveness of the Company of the Generalitat de Catalunya). As a novelty, Geprom showed demos of their most innovative products, including the MES system Legato Sapient and their latest innovation: Tic Tap labels with NFC and RFID technologies for the identification and traceability of any piece. Other elements of the product portfolio were also exhibited such as SCADA, SGA, quality and Digital Twin systems.
Geprom also participated in the Elevator Pitch, a parallel event organized by the Generalitat de Catalunya where the 20 companies with the most innovative solutions had 2 minutes to present their business to potential customers and partners. Toni Guillén was in charge of sharing Geprom’s vision of the value of data to transform industries and business models.
The IoT Solutions World Congress is part of the Barcelona Industry Week, a platform that brings together seven simultaneous events related to the digital transformation of the industry. This year it received more than 25,000 visitors globally and was once again a worldwide benchmark in this sector. The IOTSWC is already preparing its next edition for October 27-29, 2020.
