At Geprom, we would like to exclusively invite you to the 9th Edition of Advanced Factories 2025, which will be held on April 8, 9, and 10 at Fira Barcelona – Gran Vía. This event, established as a benchmark in industrial innovation, will bring together over 600 companies showcasing the latest solutions in automation, robotics, integrated production systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twins, computer vision, VR/AR, cybersecurity, IIoT, data analytics, and cloud computing.
Advanced Factories 2025 will be held jointly with AMT (Advanced Machine Tools), strengthening the synergy in industrial automation and robotics.
In the official event presentation, Albert Planas highlighted the critical moment that the industry is experiencing in Europe, with challenges such as decarbonization, financing for technological modernization, productivity improvement, and talent attraction. In the field of robotics, Carlos, a representative of the Spanish Robotics Association (AER), stated that around half a million robots are installed worldwide each year, with China leading. Spain ranks tenth, with sectors such as automotive, metal, and food and beverages leading implementation. Key trends include collaborative artificial intelligence, humanoid robots, sustainability (GreenBuild), sector-specific robots, and solutions to address labor shortages.

Together with Telefónica Tech, we will have a booth (4D464) located in Pavilion 4, where you can visit us and explore our technological solutions. Among them, we will showcase an intralogistics demo that demonstrates how automating movements for picking up and delivering goods optimizes time and reduces costs. Additionally, we will explore human-machine collaboration to eliminate waiting times and enhance operational efficiency.
