2 What data do we process about you?
The data that we will process about you will only be the data that you provide to us when completing the registration form, which may include:
•Identification data: First name, surname, email address, country, language, address, mobile phone number, LinkedIn profile, as well as your image and/or voice during your participation in the event, in the event that it is recorded.
•Employment data: Company and position within the company.
3. How do we obtain your data and where does it come from?
The data we process is the data that you provide directly when completing the registration request form for the corresponding Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech event and/or activity.
Please remember that the personal information you provide directly must always be real, truthful and up to date.
4. What do we use your data for and why?
We inform you that at Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech we may process your data for the following purposes, as well as, where applicable, any additional purposes that you yourself consent to or authorize at any time:
a) Event management: We need to process your data to manage your request to register for the corresponding event or activity and, where applicable, to verify your participation in the event. Likewise, we may process your personal image/voice data during these events for the purpose of making streaming recordings for subsequent dissemination, which may appear on our website or may be shared on social media or other internal and external communication channels. These recordings may be used for advertising, communication or similar campaigns and may be publicly accessible to other people.
By attending the event, you authorize the taking of still images such as photographs, the recording of videos with your image and/or voice, as well as their reproduction and/or publication and dissemination under the terms indicated in the previous paragraph, assigning to Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech, without geographical limitation (worldwide via the Internet) or time limitation, any economic image rights that may correspond to you in this regard, and waiving the right to receive compensation.
b) Sending informational and/or commercial communications: In addition, if you authorize us by ticking the corresponding box(es) on the data collection form, Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech will process your data to send you commercial information and communications, including by electronic means, about Telefónica Tech products and services associated with areas such as industrial digital transformation and/or the Internet of Things in general, Big Data, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence that may be of interest to you at the address you have provided. Likewise, if you have given your consent, we will send you information about our informational or commercial activities and events that may be of interest to you.
The legal basis for collecting and processing the personal data described in this Privacy Policy will be your consent, which you have the right to withdraw at any time in a simple and free manner, in accordance with what is provided herein.
5. How long do we keep your data?
As a general rule, we will keep your data for the period necessary to comply with the purpose(s) for which it was collected and to address any possible liabilities that may arise from such purpose(s).
In any case, your data will be kept according to the retention criteria or specific periods described in each data processing activity and, where applicable, as long as you do not withdraw the consent granted and/or object to its processing. In this regard, we will make our best efforts to provide you with an automatic and simple mechanism so that you can withdraw the consent granted and/or object to the processing and, in any case, we remain at your disposal at the email address for exercising rights indicated in section six of this Privacy Policy.
6. Who receives the data? Are international data transfers carried out?
To carry out the processing purposes described, we may use authorized subcontractors acting on behalf of and in the name of Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech, as data processors and contractually subject to our instructions, solely for the lawful purposes described and for the time strictly necessary to do so.
Likewise, based on our legitimate interest associated with internal administrative purposes for clients or potential clients, we may share your data with other companies of the Telefónica Group to inform them that you have attended the event so that they may contact you to send you information related to Telefónica Tech’s own products and services that may be of interest to you. When the authorized subcontractors acting on behalf of and in the name of Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech or the aforementioned recipients are located or process your data outside the European Economic Area, we will be carrying out an international transfer of your data in accordance with the provisions of data protection regulations. As a general rule, we will avoid carrying out international transfers and your data will be processed within the European Economic Area. However, if it becomes necessary to carry them out, we will adopt the organizational, technical and contractual measures necessary to guarantee the protection and security of your data, such as, for example, signing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with the authorized subcontractor or third-party transferee, carrying out impact assessments on the international transfer in question to assess the risk and adopt mitigation measures, encrypting data in transit or at rest, pseudonymizing the data subject to the international transfer, etc.
In any case, Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech always guarantees the highest level of protection in the access that these third parties have to your data and information.
7. What rights do you have as the data subject?
As a data subject, data protection regulations grant you certain rights over your data which, where applicable, you may exercise before Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech. Below we explain what they are and how you can exercise them. We also inform you that on the website of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) you can find more information about the characteristics of these rights and download templates to exercise each of them.
• Right of access: this is your right to request from us details of the data we hold about you and how we process it, as well as to obtain a copy of it.
• Right to rectification: this is your right to obtain the rectification of your inaccurate or erroneous data, as well as to complete any data that is incomplete.
• Right to erasure: this is your right to request the deletion or erasure of your data and information in certain circumstances. However, please note that there are certain occasions on which we are legally entitled to continue retaining and processing your data, for example, to comply with a legal obligation to retain data.
• Right to restriction: this is your right to restrict or limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances. To do so, it is important to bear in mind that when you exercise a right, in most cases, you must clearly specify which right you are exercising and provide a copy of a document proving your identity.
Any exercise of rights will be responded to within a maximum period of one month, which may be extended by two months if necessary, taking into account the complexity of the request and the number of requests.

Therefore, as part of our commitment and in compliance with current legislation, we have adopted the most demanding and robust security measures and technical means to prevent its loss, misuse or access without your authorization.
9. Further processing of data and changes to the Privacy Policy
Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Such update will be made public by Geprom Part of Telefónica Tech, in any case, with the prior notice legally required before it comes into force. In addition, it will be communicated directly to the data subject in the event that it affects their rights or freedoms or when, for example, the inclusion of a new processing activity requires the data subject’s consent or modifies the scope of the legitimate interest that enables the processing.
