Due to the complexity of the production processes, RWE decided to implement an automatic alarm and visualization system. In this way, breakdowns and possible downtimes will be reduced to a minimum.
In addition to the visualization and analysis of occurring faults, the increase in transparency with regard to faults was another important objective with the implementation of the system. In this way, specific measures can be taken.

In addition to the local visualisation systems of the automation technology in the lifting systems, the approximately 120 control systems are connected to the MES Legato system. The connection is made and controlled via TCP/IP.
In addition to current fault messages, key figures such as counters, quantities and availabilities as well as a comprehensive message archive can also be called up. To simplify the analysis of weak points, all values can be exported for analysis and graphical display.
